Applied for funds for the project from the National Lottery Distribution Funds and the Department of Social Development (Government).
Application approved by both the donors and got 6 DILP Workers and 3 Sign Language Interpreters appointed to deal with Deaf Community Development at a Grassroots level in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa.

Financial support from JICA, regarding the continuation of the DILP.

To make DILP a national project in South Africa.
